The show will kick off on Saturday 23rd February at 10am when Conrad Humphreys launches the event by climbing Europe’s highest mobile climbing wall which forms the centrepiece of the Royal Navy’s presence at the show.
Over the whole weekend a jam packed roster of exciting and inspirational speakers will take to the stage in the Speaker Theatre in the main arena, thrilling audiences with tales of their adventures. From the comfort of your seat you’ll be taken across the barren wastes of Iceland on a motorbike, around Britain in a 15 foot long dinghy and to the South Pole (and back!)
Come along and ‘GIVE THINGS A GO!’ There will be plenty to see and do; take part in the Duchy College Crate Stacking Championships, plan an exploration into the wilds of Africa with Zambezi Travel, scale the Royal Navy’s 32ft high climbing wall, see Geoff Holt’s boat ‘Free Thinker’, learn about sea safety with the RNLI Beach Camper, and get up close and personal with some magnificent creepy-crawlies brought to the show by Dartmoor Zoological Park.
There will also be equipment to try and gear to buy, such as great clothing from White Water Boarding, camping items and tents from Outdoor Experience who are setting up the bar as a campsite, specialist outdoor equipment from Kountry Kit and an essential bit of beach kit from Bombura.
